An incognizant Kailash Kher enters Pakistan

Two days ago, Kailash Kher was at Wagah Border to perform for a channel for a special show on Independence Day.

After the show and the regular Retreat Parade, he visited the area behind the buildings of both the countries, where there is a stone mark and a thin chain for a boundary and people from both the sides can talk, click photos and even shake hands.

When Kailash reached there with Indian IG-DIG and other officers, on finding out that Kailash Kher is at Wagah Border, Pakistan's officers expressed the desire to meet him and reached their side of the border to do so.

Kher went ahead to meet him, not realizing that he had crossed the border. When one of our officers made him realize that he was on the other side of the border, the Pakistani officer gave it an okay and said 'No problem, music knows no boundary.' and shook hands with the singer.

The crowd from both the sides that had so gathered started cheering and applauding at this point, making the atmosphere jovial and amicable.

Kailash Kher then said, "Aaj hi aapke aur hamaare singer Rahat Fatehali Khan ke sath hamara ek dosti ka gaana release hua hai, for the film Desi Kattey." (Our song from the film 'Desi Kattey' which is based on friendship has just released today, in collaboration with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan).
