Piano Maestro Brian Silas’s launches 27th album on his Birthday

It was a special birthday for Piano maestro Brian Silas as he launched his 27th album “Tumsa Nahin Dekha” released under the Saregama label recently in New Delhi. Renowned Piano king Brian Silas’s 10 years tryst with the piano has got him fame and accolades from audiences in India and all over the world.

The memorable evening started with Brian Silas’s rhapsodic instrumental performance where he played a few tracks from his new album. The music was so breath taking that the audience didn’t want him to stop and Brian continued playing some old songs by Kishore Kumar, Md. Rafi creating nostalgia for the audience and the media. Brian Silas’s new album “Tumsa Nahi Dekha” is a collection of 15 instrumental songs coaxing a magical melody that mesmerizes and creates an ambience that enthralls.

After a soothing live performance, Brian launched his new album along with his mother and wife Ravindra Kaur. Followed by the launch, a special cake cutting ceremony was arranged by Brian’s better half and his mother who showered him with blessings.

Brian Silas’s romance with the piano began at quite an early age, it was his deep desire to master the instrument and he succeeded in doing so. Brian's early years were spent in Kanpur in a family steeped in music and tradition. Despite his parent's insistence, he didn’t take any formal training in music and plays the piano from sheer instinct. He evokes the nostalgia of great music directors like Khayyam, Salil Choudhary, O.P. Nayyar, S.D. Burman, Laxmi Kant Pyare Lal, Ravi and the inimitable Madan Mohan, leaving his audience spell bound.
