Singer Nakash is Composing Music for Marathi Film Following the Humongous Success of ‘Saree Ke Fall Sa’

Nakash Aziz the singer who has created rage in the nation with songs like ‘Saree Ke Fall Sa’ & ‘Gandi Baat’ will now be composing music for a Marathi Film. This is the result of the humongous success of his songs that he is flooded with several songs offers - to sing and even to come.

Nakash is composition music for the upcoming Marathi film ‘Vadhdivsachya Hardik Shubhechha’. Previous to this he has even composed music for producer Smita Thackeray films like RAADA ROX and NO ENTRY PUDHE DHOKA AAHE. Nakash is not new to this aspect of the music industry; he has assisted as music composer to veterans like legendary A. R. Rahman and peppy Pritam da of the music industry.

Hard Kaur and Honey Singh Bumped into Each Other

Recently, India’s best two rappers Hard Kaur and Honey Singh bumped into each other at Mumbai airport. Their flights were delayed so they were waiting at the airport. When Honey Singh saw Hard Kaur he went up to her and they both shared quality time together and the onlookers were amazed to see the duo sharing such a good chemistry. This was the first time that these two rappers meet each other.

These two were flying down to Delhi for an event. Later at the event in Delhi, also, they were seeing partying hard together. One should learn from these two how to forget the past and have a blast!

Kailash Kher’s ironic song woh ram, krishan kyu nahi hai’

The Crown prince of Bhangra Singer Jazzy B is receiving rave reviews for his upcoming song in the film ‘Shaadi ke side effects’ which features Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan. The song is being used in the trailer of the films which is very catchy number that automatically catches your attention. The lyrics of the song like ‘Atyachari…Harry Not a Brahmchaari,’ is a peppy number depicting typical attitude of a married man who thinks himself trapped in marriage, of course in a humours way. The song is being composed by Pritam.

His last hit Bollywood song was ‘Jugni’ form the film ‘Sahib Biwi and Gangster Returns.’ As this year Jazzy B was busy shooting for his debut film, as an actor, titled ‘Best of Luck’ (Punjabi film) with Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal and Miss India Universe 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi.

His other popular songs of 2013 are ‘dilli wali girlfriend’ (Yeh Jawani hai Deewani), Tose Naina (Mickey Virus), Aye Dil Bata (Ishk Actually), Har kisi ko nahi milta (Boss), Aasan Nahi Yahan (Aashiqui 2), Chahu Main Yan a (Aashiqui 2), Hum Mar jayenge (Aashiqui 2), etc. He is the most talented singer of 2013 as the music moguls say for him.

Ankit Tiwari

Third best singer is one song wonder Ankit Tiwari who sung Sun raha hai na tu is such a big hit that song established him in the industry and only this song gave him 49335285 hits on YouTube, which means compared to one song he is on the top in terms of YouTube hits. Hopefully, he will get to sing more songs and compose too as Sun Raha hai na tu is also composed by him.

Honey Singh

Fourth is only five-six film songs old, Hirdesh Singh. But don’t be confused he is better known as Honey Singh. His lungi dance of Chennai Express is so popular that it is been played in functions, pubs, restaurants, and any sort of gatherings. Party All night of the film Boss is more popular than the film. In present time his top two songs Sunny Sunny and ABCD of the film Yaariyan is huge hit and popularity of both the songs create curiosity for the film. Though he has less number of songs but his hits on YouTube are 24516048 but the best part is maybe he is the only singer who has more hits on his album songs and hopefully he will have more songs in 2014. His number of songs doesn’t affect him much as his popularity is par above reach for many well known established singers.

Nakash Aziz

Fifth place goes to an unknown singer listeners whom you all don’t know him by face but knows his voice…his name is Nakash Aziz. His song Saree ke fall sa of R…Rajkumar and Dhating nach are huge hits that why he got 23927523 hits on YouTube. Both the songs are picturized on Shahid Kapoor and Nakash think that Shahid is lucky for him and music guru presume that he will be one of the best singer of 2014.

Can popularity of one song gives a singer sixth place in this list…well the answer is yes. The singer Benny Dayal got 20994393 hits on YouTube for the song Badtameez Dil of film Yeh Jawani hai Deewani.

Seventh position is taken by Vishal Dadlani for ‘1234 get on’ of the film Chennai Express which got 12456284 hits on YouTube and the best part is this is one song wonder of the year.

Eighth place has been captured by Tochi Raina for the song Kabira of film Yeh jawani hai deewani and he got 8124076 hits for all his songs in 2013 and his other songs are "GUD NAAL ISHQ MITHA" in amazing voice of TOCHI RAINA from the film I Love NY and Khalbali (3G).

On ninth position we have Siddharth Mahadevan for the songs Malang (Dhoom 3) and Tu Bhag Milkha and Zinda both the songs are from the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. From D-Day film he has given his voice in the song Dhuaan. His future also looks great as he is the song of Shankar Mahadevan who himself is a great singer and composer and his advice will always help him to grow.

Ten place is given to Javed Bhashir who got total hits for his songs on YouTube are 4867550 for songs Yeh tune Kya Kiya (Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobara), Muraba (Mumbai Talkies), Mere Yaar and O rang reg (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag). 

Remembering Dev Anand.

I first met Dev Sahab in 2001, which was also the last time, for the music launch of his film Censor, in Ashoka Hotel, Delhi.
At 1pm I got a call from Pooja Kashyap of HMV, who needed last minute help to organize the media for the music launch. I told her ‘I’d love to help you as I am a great fan of Dev Anand, and this is the best chance to meet and interact with him’. Though the time given was very short to invite the media, but I took this challenge and my entire team for this music launch, without giving it a second thought.
Press conference was around 4 or 5 pm and the chief guest was the then IB minister Sushma Swaraj. More than 100 media was present at that time for which I wouldn’t take the credit as this is Dev Anand’s charisma that all the media were there.
Press conference got over in an hour but the media was eager to talk with him one to one. Anyhow I managed a few interviews and by 7 he told me ‘Harish this would be the last one, and if there’s anything left then I’d like to do it in my suite around 8 pm’. And around 8 he was in the lounge of the hotel as fresh as ever, ready for another set of interviews with Aaj tak and NDTV. After these couple of interviews I got a chance to interact with him personally and his first sentence was “Good job Harish, but I have never done so many interviews at one time”. During that interaction I learnt that whatever you’d ask him, he’d reply, and if you don’t start anything he would keep mum. I asked him, about his great health and fitness at this age, for which he said, I try to avoid grains most of the time, I survive on water and fruits whenever I’m hungry.
And then I asked him how he finds Delhi. He said ‘Delhi is very hot!...because of central politics, and at the same time very pleasant’. Talking about his favorite pass time he told me ‘though I am never free, I spend my time in writing and reading, besides making films’.
I told him that it’s my dream to become a director to which he said, ‘If you dream about it then it will be fulfilled, because this is dreaming with open eyes and not with closed ones.’ During that time I got a call from Kaveri Bamzai from IndiaToday saying that she wanted good enough time for an interview with Dev Anand Sahab. I asked him about it, he asked me to call her the next morning around 8:30-9.
The next day by 8:30 sharp he was in the lounge and within half an hour that interview got done and when I asked him to take a leave he remembered about my direction and said ‘Harish when you become a Director, give me a call’. After that I never got a chance to meet him and now as I just completed my first film as a director, his lines still ring in my mind, and I thought I’d call him when my film would release. The film is now in the process of being released but before that, sadly enough, he suddenly left us one day. And my dream to tell him about my directorial venture remains a dream. I miss you Dev Sahab. May you Rest in Peace.
